Alexander Zverev is a German professional tennis player. He was born on April 20, 1997, in Hamburg, Germany, and began playing tennis at the age of three. Zverev is a right-handed player and is currently ranked as one of the top players in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Zverev has had an impressive career so far, winning numerous titles on the ATP Tour. He first broke into the top 100 rankings in 2015 and has since reached a career-high ranking of No. 3 in the world in November 2017. In addition to his singles success, Zverev has also enjoyed success in doubles, winning the gold medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics in the men's doubles event with his partner, Jan-Lennard Struff. Zverev is known for his powerful serve and groundstrokes, as well as his athleticism and ability to play well on all surfaces. He has been praised by many in the tennis world for his potential to become one of the all-time greats of the sport.
