Aaron Rodgers is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He was born on December 2, 1983 in Chico, California. Rodgers played college football at the University of California, Berkeley where he was the starting quarterback for two seasons. In 2005, he won the starting job and led the team to a 10-2 record and a victory in the Holiday Bowl. In 2006, Rodgers was projected as a first-round pick in the NFL draft, but ended up being selected 24th overall by the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers began his career as a backup to Brett Favre, one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. He was given the starting job in 2008 and has been the Packers' starting quarterback ever since. Rodgers has won numerous awards during his career, including two NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards, a Super Bowl MVP award, and has been named to nine Pro Bowls. Rodgers is also known for his love of travel, music, and movies, and has appeared in several television shows and films over the years.
